Greg Ellis (American Football)
Gregory Lemont Ellis (born August 14, 1975) is a former defensive end in the National Football League (NFL) for the Dallas Cowboys and Oakland Raiders. He was selected in the first round of the 1998 NFL draft by the Dallas Cowboys. He played college football at the University of North Carolina, and was recognized as an All-American. Early life Ellis was born in Wendell, North Carolina. He attended East Wake High School in Wendell. He was named Male High School Athlete of the Year in 1993 by the ''Raleigh News and Observer''. College career Ellis accepted a football scholarship from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC). As a University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC) freshman in 1994, he had four sacks a back-up defensive end. Kenan Stadium
Kenan Stadium (formerly Kenan Memorial Stadium) is a college football stadium located on Stadium Drive in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Opened in 1927, it is home to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's (UNC) football team, which competes in the Atlantic Coast Conference. The facility replaced Emerson Field, where the school's football program had been based since 1916. Plans for the stadium began as attendance increased. Ground was broken on the stadium in December 1926 and work completed in August 1927. Lawrence Julius Taylor (born February 4, 1959), nicknamed "L.T.", is an American former professional football linebacker who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 13 seasons with the New York Giants. The 1998 NFL draft was the procedure by which National Football League teams selected amateur college football players. It is officially known as the NFL Annual Player Selection Meeting.
