Greg Christian
Gregory Christian (born April 29, 1966) is an American musician who is the former bassist for thrash metal band Testament. He left the band in 1996, but rejoined in 2004 and left again in 2014. In addition to Testament, Christian has also played in HavocHate and Trinity Fallen, and later served as the bassist for Trauma. He is known for his finger playing style and jazz-like bass parts, which can be heard on Testament songs such as " Souls of Black" and "Disciples of the Watch", although he has also occasionally been seen using a guitar pick. Christian also performed backing vocals in Testament. Career Testament Christian is an original member of Testament, having joined in 1983 when they were called Legacy. ''Dark Roots of Earth'' is the eleventh studio album by American thrash metal band Testament. It was released on July 27, 2012, in Europe, and four days later in North America by independent German record label Nuclear Blast Records. The album is available in three configurations, CD, CD/DVD and vinyl, with the latter two versions including four bonus tracks. The album was produced by Andy Sneap, who mixed and engineered the band's previous three studio releases, ''The Gathering'' (1999), '' First Strike Still Deadly'' (2001), and ''The Formation of Damnation'' (2008). The album artwork was created by Eliran Kantor. A music video was made for the track "Native Blood". Jungle Rot
Jungle Rot is an American death metal band from Kenosha, Wisconsin, formed in 1992. History Jungle Rot was founded in 1992 as a side project by Jim Harte and Joe Thomas, members of the Illinois thrash metal act, Prisoner. The band's name refers to jungle rot, an infection of the skin that occurs in tropical climates. The band recorded their first demo ''Rip Off Your Face'', a fun offering of immature death metal heavily influenced by the likes of S.O.D., Madball, Bolt Thrower, Autopsy, and Celtic Frost. Then, they acquired Kenosha-based guitarist Dave Matrise ( Num Skull, Nocturnal, Fatal Violence) in 1993. It was not until 1994 when Matrise took over that the band got serious and started to take off. Steve Di Giorgio (born November 7, 1967) is an American bass guitarist. He is known for his work with numerous heavy metal bands such as Sadus (of which he was a co-founder), Death, Testament, Megadeth, Sebastian Bach, Iced Earth, Autopsy, Obituary, Control Denied, Dragonlord and Charred Walls of the Damned, and he has performed on over 50 albums as a guest, session or full-time band musician. ''Live in London'' is a live album by American thrash metal band Testament, released on CD and DVD on November 1, 2005. It features the original Testament line up of Chuck Billy, Greg Christian, Louie Clemente, Eric Peterson, and Alex Skolnick, although John Tempesta played drums from the beginning of the show up to "Trial by Fire"; he was then replaced by original drummer Clemente for the remainder of the show. This was the third show of the ''10 Days in May'' Tour. Backstage footage is included from the Innsbruck, Austria date on May 12, 2005, among others.
