Greenwood Academies Trust
The Greenwood Academies Trust is a large multi-academy trust in England, centred around the Nottingham Academy, which was formerly the Greenwood Dale School. There are 34 academies within the trust, educating over 17,000 pupils. The trust's mission is "to enable every child within our academies to be the best they can be". Nottingham Academy
Nottingham Academy is an academy school located in Nottingham, England. It is an all-through 3-19 school. The school is made up from two (formerly three) predecessor schools, Greenwood Dale 11-19, The Jesse Boot Primary School 3–11, and formerly Elliott Durham 11–16. The Nottingham Academy was founded in 2009 but formally opened during the year of 2011 when Greenwood Campus had completed construction, becoming the 'largest school in Europe', serving up to 3,780 pupils ages 3–19. The Wells Academy
The Wells Academy is a co-educational secondary school for 11-16 yr olds, located in the St Ann's area of Nottingham in the English county of Nottinghamshire. History Elliot Durham School was established at the current school site in 1966. It was designed as an 11 to 16 co-educational school housed in its own purpose-built accommodation on a very attractive site. The sports facilities included a sports hall with a full size of basketball court, four badminton courts and areas for gymnastics, indoor football, netball and hockey, and a small carpeted hall for dance and aerobics. Outside there are four tennis courts, two floodlit astro-turf fields, extensive playing fields and pool. Stanground Academy is a co-educational academy school and specialist college for sport, in the city of Peterborough in the United Kingdom. As of 20 October 2023, the academy has a capacity of around 1,430 students, with more people joining. The school was established in 1966 as Stanground Secondary Modern School, becoming comprehensive when education in the county was reorganised in 1976. It was officially opened by Alderman Dr. Jack Hunt, chairman of the Education Committee of the then Huntingdon and Peterborough County Council, after whom another local school is named. Nottingham Girls' Academy (formerly Manning Comprehensive School) is a girls' secondary school and sixth form with academy status, located in the Aspley area of Nottingham in the English county of Nottinghamshire. History Grammar schools Manning Grammar School for Girls, was originally part of the High Pavement Grammar School until 1931, when it moved into new buildings on Gregory Boulevard. Colwick
Colwick ( ) is a village and civil parish, in the Borough of Gedling of Nottinghamshire, England. It is situated to the east of Nottingham's city boundary, and forms the Colwick ward.
