Greenpeace is an independent global campaigning network, founded in Canada in 1971 by a group of environmental activists. Genetic engineering, also called genetic modification or genetic manipulation, is the modification and manipulation of an organism's genes using technology. The Dakota Access Pipeline Protests or the Standing Rock Protests, also known by the hashtag #NODAPL, NoDAPL, were a series of grassroots Native Americans in the United States, Native American protests against the construction of the Dakota Access Pipeline in the northern United States that began in April 2016.
