Greatest Days (film)
''Greatest Days'' is an upcoming British film based on the Take That jukebox musical of the same name (originally titled ''The Band''), directed by Coky Giedroyc and written by Tim Firth. The film is scheduled to be released in summer 2023. Cast Production Producing the film are Danny Perkins, Kate Solomon and Jane Hooks. Executive producers include Take That themselves, Damian Jones of DJ Films, Tobias Gutzwiller of SPG3, David Pugh and Dafydd Rogers who produced the original musical, and Joe Naftalin. In March 2022, it was announced Aisling Bea would star in the film alongside Alice Lowe, Amaka Okafor, Jayde Adams, Marc Wootton, Matthew McNulty, Lara McDonnell, Jessie Mae Alonzo, Nandi Sawyers-Hudson, Carragon Guest, and Eliza Dobson. Aaron Bryan, Dalvin Cory, Joshua Jung, Mark Samaras and Mervin Noronha would make up the film's fictional boy band. Coky Giedroyc
Mary Rose Helen "Coky" Giedroyc (; born 6 February 1963) is an English director known for her work on '' Women Talking Dirty'', '' The Virgin Queen'', ''The Nativity'', and ''Penny Dreadful''. Early life Giedroyc was born in Kowloon on 6 February 1963. She grew up in Leatherhead, Surrey. Her father was Michal Giedroyc (1929–2017), a historian of Polish-Lithuanian descent from the aristocratic Giedroyć family, who came to England in 1947. Her mother, Rosy, is of English descent. Her younger sister, Mel Giedroyc, is a television presenter. Her other sister, Kasia, is a children's writer who later married diplomat Philip Parham. She attended Bristol University, where she first began to make films. Lara McDonnell
Lara McDonnell (born 7 November 2003) is an Irish actress. She starred as the alternating titular role in the West End production of ''Matilda the Musical'' from 2015 to 2016. She has since landed roles in a number of films. McDonnell appeared on the 2021 ''Irish Independent'' list of actors to go stellar. Clitheroe
Clitheroe () is a town and civil parish in the Borough of Ribble Valley, Lancashire, England; it is located north-west of Manchester. Tim Firth
Tim Firth (born 13 October 1964) is an English dramatist, screenwriter and songwriter. Life and career Firth was born in Frodsham, England. He spent much of his time at school writing songs and it was only a few weeks before going to Cambridge to read English that he attended an Arvon Foundation course in West Yorkshire. This was run by Willy Russell and whilst on it, Firth had to write dialogue. He wrote about the only thing he knew - two sixteen-year-olds trying to write a song. Another course participant optioned it for his production company and Firth decided to become a writer. While at Cambridge he joined the Footlights where his contemporaries included David Baddiel who later invited him to contribute music to ''The Mary Whitehouse Experience'' on BBC radio. Jayde Pricilla Gail Adams (born 26 November 1984) is a British comedian, actress, writer and opera singer from Bristol. She is the winner of the 2014 Funny Women Award.
