Great Eastern Conventions
Great Eastern Conventions, Inc. was an entertainment company that produced comic book conventions, most actively from 1987 to 1996. In New York City, the Great Eastern shows filled the gap between the mid-1980s demise of the annual Comic Art Convention and Creation Conventions, and the establishment of promoter Michael Carbonaro's annual Big Apple Comic Con in 1996. From 1993 to 1995, Great Eastern hosted two New York City shows annually at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. In addition to running shows in the Northeastern United States, Great Eastern also ran shows in Georgia, Florida, California, Oregon, Minnesota, and Texas. Great Eastern was founded in 1977 by New Jersey–based promoter Frederic Greenberg and his wife Nancy. Ringoes is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) located within East Amwell Township in Hunterdon County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The community is served by the United States Postal Service as ZIP Code 08551 and as of the 2020 United States census, the CDP's population was 849. History Ringoes is the oldest known settlement in Hunterdon County, developing around John Ringo's Tavern on the Old York Road, now Route 179. The tavern was the site for many meetings of the Hunterdon Chapter of the Sons of Liberty formed in 1766, meetings especially war related were discussed in this tavern. Mount Laurel is a Township (New Jersey), township in Burlington County, New Jersey, Burlington County in the U.S. state of New Jersey. Pat Broderick
Pat Broderick (born November 26, 1953) is an American comics artist, known for his work on the '' Micronauts'' and '' Alpha Flight'' for Marvel Comics, and ''Legion of Super-Heroes'', '' Captain Atom'' and '' Green Lantern'' for DC Comics. Broderick also pencilled the four-part " Batman: Year Three" storyline, written by Marv Wolfman, which detailed the first meeting of Batman and Dick Grayson as well as Tim Drake's first appearance. John Beatty (illustrator)
John R. Beatty (born May 6, 1961, in Whitesburg, Kentucky) is an American illustrator who has worked for Marvel Comics and DC Comics, primarily as an inker. Biography Beatty was born in Letcher County, Kentucky; he lived there for less than a year when his family moved to Holly Hill, Florida, a small city located between Daytona Beach and Ormond Beach. As a child, I discovered and fell in love with the comic strips '' Dennis the Menace'' and ''Peanuts''. It wasn't until later that Beatty discovered superhero comic books when a friend who lived up the street sold him a box of comics for $20.00. Beatty's goal was to become a comic book artist. Robert Liefeld (; born October 3, 1967) is an American comic book creator. A prominent writer and artist in the 1990s, he is known for co-creating the character Cable (comics), Cable with writer Louise Simonson and the character Deadpool with writer Fabian Nicieza. In the early 1990s, Liefeld gained popularity due to his work on Marvel Comics' ''The New Mutants (comic book), The New Mutants'' and later ''X-Force (comic book), X-Force''. George Pérez
George Pérez (; June 9, 1954 – May 6, 2022) was an American comic book artist and writer, who worked primarily as a penciller. He came to prominence in the 1970s penciling ''Fantastic Four (comic book), Fantastic Four'' and ''The Avengers (comic book), The Avengers'' for Marvel Comics. In the 1980s, he penciled ''New Teen Titans, The New Teen Titans'', which became one of DC Comics' top-selling series. He penciled DC's landmark limited series ''Crisis on Infinite Earths'', followed by relaunching ''Wonder Woman (comic book), Wonder Woman'' as both writer and penciller. In the meantime, he worked on other comics published by Marvel, DC, and other companies into the 2010s. Hialeah Gardens is a city in Miami-Dade County, Florida, United States. The city is part of the Miami metropolitan area of South Florida.
