''Gravity Happens'' is the third studio album by Kate Voegele, released on May 17, 2011 on MySpace Records and ATO Records ATO Records (or According to Our Records) is an American independent record label based in New York City. The label was established in 2000 by Dave Matthews and manager Coran Capshaw. ATO's roster includes My Morning Jacket, Brittany Howard, ... in the United States. The album debuted at number 56 on the ''Billboard'' 200 albums chart. Singles "Heart in Chains", the first single from the album, was released on May 17, 2011. The song premiered during the episode of '' One Tree Hill'' aired on that same day. The music video had already been shot, confirmed on Voegele's Twitter. In a still of the video, Voegele blows a kiss with what seems like a forest behind her. Kate Voegele
Kate Elizabeth Voegele ( ; born December 8, 1986) is an American singer-songwriter and actress. She made her musical debut in 2003, with the release of her extended play ''The Other Side''. She performed numerous local live shows to promote the album, and toured with artists such as John Mayer. In 2005, she released her second extended play, ''Louder Than Words''. Both had local success, and helped raise awareness of Voegele as an artist. During this time period, Voegele performed at events such as Farm Aid to promote her music, and began posting her music on popular social media network MySpace. She also won numerous awards and honors for her songwriting abilities. Voegele officially signed with Interscope Records in 2006, and immediately began working on her official debut album. Her first studio album, ''Don't Look Away (Kate Voegele album), Don't Look Away'', was released in 2007 to generally positive reviews. Folk rock is a fusion genre of rock music with heavy influences from pop, English and American folk music. It arose in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom in the mid-1960s. ''A Fine Mess'' is the second studio album by American singer-songwriter Kate Voegele. It is a combination of upbeat pop rock music, adding to the sound of her debut album, '' Don't Look Away'' (2007). Background Voegele first announced plans for a new album in 2008, while promoting her debut album, '' Don't Look Away''. Between this announcement and the album's release, several songs were previewed and released. Three promotional singles were released from the album, including "Angel", " Lift Me Up", and " Sweet Silver Lining". Chantal Jennifer Kreviazuk ( ; born May 18, 1974) is a Canadian singer, songwriter, composer, and pianist. Born in Winnipeg, she played music from a young age before signing with Columbia Records in the 1990s. Raine Maida ( ; born Michael Anthony Maida; February 18, 1970) – Ourladypeace.cc. Retrieved April 30, 2010. is a Canadian musician best known as being the lead vocalist and primary songwriter of the alternative rock band Our Lady Peace. He has come to be known for his unique countertenor nasal falsetto singing voice, as well as his cryptic and poetry-influenced song lyrics.
