Gravity (wrestler)
Gravity (born August 8, 1997) is a Mexican luchador enmascarado (masked professional wrestler). He is known for working for the American promotion All Elite Wrestling (AEW) under the ring name as well as Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide. His older brother Bandido and his cousins Magia Blanca and Myzteziz Jr. are also luchadores. Just like his older brother, his relatives and other ''luchadores enmascarados'', Gravity's real name is not a matter of public record as is often the case with masked wrestlers in Mexico. Professional wrestling career Gravity made his professional wrestling debut in his native Mexico in 2020. Ring Of Honor
Ring of Honor (ROH) is an American professional wrestling promotion based in Jacksonville, Florida. The promotion was founded by Rob Feinstein on February 23, 2002, and was operated by Cary Silkin from 2004 until 2011, when the promotion was sold to the Sinclair Broadcast Group. After a deal was struck in March 2022, ROH was officially sold to All Elite Wrestling (AEW) founder, co-owner, president, and CEO Tony Khan two months later. Death Before Dishonor (2023)
The 2023 Death Before Dishonor was the 20th Death Before Dishonor professional wrestling pay-per-view event produced by American promotion Ring of Honor (ROH). It took place on July 21, 2023, at the CURE Insurance Arena in Trenton, New Jersey. Twelve matches were contested at the event, including four on the Zero Hour pre-show. In the final match of the night, which was promoted as part of a double main event, Athena defeated Willow Nightingale to retain the ROH Women's World Championship. Masked Wrestlers
A wrestling mask is a fabric-based mask that some professional wrestlers wear as part of their in-ring persona or gimmick. Professional wrestlers have been using masks as far back as 1915 and they are still widely used today, especially in Lucha Libre in Mexico. History At the 1865 World's Fair, Theobaud Bauer debuted the mask, wrestling as "The Masked Wrestler" in Paris, France. He continued wrestling using the mask throughout France as part of a circus troupe in the 1860s before moving on to the United States in the early 1870s. In 1915, Mort Henderson started wrestling as the "Masked Marvel" in the New York area making him the first North American wrestler to perform with such a gimmick. Lucha Libre Elite
Lucha Libre Elite, also referred to as simply Elite, is a ''lucha libre'' (Mexican professional wrestling) promotion based in Mexico City, Mexico. The promotion, founded in 2014 as Asociación de Lucha Libre Élite (All Elite), is owned and managed by Carlo Colín and Ernesto Santillan. The Elite's promoters ran events in past years under the name "Proesa Entertainment". At one point the promotion had a weekly television show on Azteca 7. The ''Wrestling Observer Newsletter'' (''WON'') is a newsletter that covers professional wrestling and mixed martial arts. Founded in print in 1982 by Dave Meltzer, the ''Wrestling Observer'' website merged with Bryan Alvarez's ''Figure Four Weekly'' website in 2008, becoming ''Wrestling Observer Figure Four Online''. Issues are offered in print and digital. The newsletter is often considered the first " dirt sheet", which is a wrestling publication which covers the art from a real-life perspective. Honor Club is an OTT streaming service owned by professional wrestling promotion Ring of Honor. Development of a VOD service was announced on November 9, 2017 by ROH COO Joe Koff. Honor Club was formally announced on February 2, 2018 and the service officially launched on February 19, 2018. Honor Club operates similarly to WWE Network and Impact Wrestling's Impact Plus, in that pay-per-view events are available to stream through the service. Honor Club had a tiered pricing model that also offered discounts on merchandise and advances on ticket sales. The service had two tiers, both of which contained special discounts as well as access to the ROH TV archive. The basic tier, which include a 50% discount on pay-per-views, was available for a monthly subscription price of $9.99 or one annual payment of $99.99. Nuufolau Joel Seanoa (born March 17, 1979), is an American professional wrestler better known by the ring name Samoa Joe who is currently signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW). Benjamin Satterley (born 22 August 1986), better known by his ring name Pac, is an English professional wrestler. He is currently signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW), where he was the inaugural AEW All-Atlantic Champion.
