Grant Nelson (basketball)
Grant Nelson (born March 18, 2002) is an American basketball player. He played college basketball for the Alabama Crimson Tide and the North Dakota State Bison. After going undrafted he sighed a two way with the Brooklyn Nets Early life and high school career Nelson grew up in Devils Lake, North Dakota and attended Devils Lake High School. He played mostly on the junior varsity team as a freshman and sophomore. Nelson averaged 16.4 points, 11.5 rebounds, and 5.1 blocks per game and was named second team All-State during his junior season. He was named North Dakota Mr. Basketball as a senior after averaging 25 points, 18 rebounds, and 5.7 blocks per game. The power forward (PF), also known as the four, is one of the five traditional Basketball positions, positions in a regulation basketball game. Traditionally, power forwards have played a role similar to center (basketball), centers and are typically the tallest or second tallest player on the court. The Northern State Wolves are the athletic teams that represent Northern State University, located in Aberdeen, South Dakota, U.S., in NCAA Division II intercollegiate sports. The Wolves compete as members of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference for all 13 varsity sports. Northern State has been a member of the conference since 1978, and they also have the fifth-smallest enrollment of the 16 member schools.
