Granger Select 200 (Dublin)
Pulaski County Motorsports Park (formerly Pulaski County Speedway, New River Valley Speedway, then Motor Mile Speedway) is a paved oval racetrack in Fairlawn, Pulaski County, Virginia. It was purchased by Shelor Automotive Group in 2004 and was subsequently renamed Motor Mile Speedway. History The track announced that it has cut all sanctions with NASCAR and discontinued its oval track racing in late 2017 but reopened under NASCAR sanctioning in 2019. However, it continues to use its drag strip behind the back straightaway. In late 2020, the Rusty Wallace Racing Experience signed an agreement to become operator of the track for at least the next two years, with plans to run regular oval- and drag-racing experiences at the track. Pulaski County Motorsports Park hosted one NASCAR Busch North Series event in 2005. And 3 NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour races between 2005 and 2006. Bobby Dotter
Bobby Dotter (born July 11, 1960) is an American former professional stock car racing driver. His father, Bob Dotter, is a three-time champion of the Automobile Racing Club of America. Dotter has made 209 starts in the NASCAR Busch Series, posting 42 top-tens and four poles. In 2000, Dotter began running in the NASCAR West Series for Gene Christensen, winning four races and the Most Popular Driver Title. He finished second in points. Richard Charles Bown Jr. (born February 22, 1954) is an American former NASCAR champion. His last ride came in 1999. He lives with his wife in Asheboro, North Carolina. He is the older brother of former fellow NASCAR competitor Jim Bown. 1970s Bown made his NASCAR debut in 1972 in the Winston Cup Series. At the age of seventeen, he ran the Winston Western 500 at Riverside International Raceway the No. 27 Plymouth owned by his father Dick. Bown started 22nd but finished 32nd that day after crashing on lap 88. Bown made 2 more starts in the No. 27 that year, with his best finish being fourteenth at the second Riverside race. Steve Grissom
Steven Paul Grissom (born June 26, 1963) is an American former stock car racing driver. He was the 1993 Busch Series champion and has eleven Busch wins in 185 starts. Grissom turned down a scholarship to play quarterback at the University of Alabama to focus a career on racing. Early years Grissom began his racing career in his youth, working on cars with his father Wayne, who was a sponsor of short track drivers in their home state of Alabama. He soon began racing cars himself, balancing that with being captain of his high school football and basketball teams in 1981. He eventually joined the Winston All-Pro Series, and won the championship in 1985. The next season, he was nominated for Alabama Pro Athlete of the Year. Richard Kenneth Mast (born March 4, 1957) is an American former NASCAR driver. He competed in both the Winston Cup and Busch Series, retiring in 2002. He holds a business administration degree from Blue Ridge Community College. Early career Mast grew up in a racing family as both his father and uncle were race team owners. He began racing at age 16 at Natural Bridge Speedway and Eastside Speedway, after he traded an Angus for his first car. Jeff Agnew
Jeffrey Agnew (born August 17, 1965) is an American professional stock car racing driver. He last competed part-time in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, driving the No. 27 for Hillman Racing in 2013. Racing career Agnew made his debut in racing in 1978 running late models, he competed against Darrell Waltrip and Bobby Allison in one race that year. He is most well-known for his success as a competitor in the Hooters Pro Cup Series, where he was the champion of the 1998 and 2011 seasons. The 1998 championship came with future NASCAR Cup Series crew chief Darian Grubb serving in that same capacity for Agnew. He also won the 2003 Hooters Pro Cup Series regular season (competing only in the Northern Division races). Agnew ended his career in the series with 20 wins, 97 Top-5 and 153 Top-10 finishes in 237 starts.
