Graeme Ballard
Graeme Robert Ballard (born 16 June 1979) is an English Paralympian athlete with cerebral palsy, who competes mainly in category T36 sprint events. Graeme was born in Manchester. He competed in both the T36 100m and 200m in the 2004 Summer Paralympics in Athens winning the bronze medal in 200m. Four years later, he competed in the 100m, 200m and 400m but won the silver medal in the T36 100m in the 2012 Summer Paralympics. He has also competed for the national 7-a-side football team and competed at a national level in swimming. Graeme has the world record in T36 100m. An athlete is most commonly a person who competes in one or more sports involving physical strength, speed, power, or endurance. Evgenii Shvetcov
Evgeny Shvetsov (born 28 February 1988) is a Paralympian track and field athlete from Russia competing mainly in category T36 sprint and middle-distance events. A triple gold medal winner at the 2012 Summer Paralympics, Shvetsov set three world records in his class between 2012 and 2013. Career history 2012 London Shvetsov came to world attention as an athlete at the 2012 Summer Paralympics in London where he entered the 100m and 400m sprints and the 800m middle-distance race. In the 100m he qualified through his heat in first position in a time of 12.11s, a new Paralympic record. In the final he shave three thousands of that record, taking the Paralympic title and pushing Graeme Ballard (Great Britain) and Roman Pavlyk (Ukraine) into silver and bronze positions. Paul Blake (athlete)
Paul John Blake (born 15 January 1990) is a British athlete who competes in T36 (classification), T36 middle-distance events. Blake competed at the 2012 Summer Paralympics where he won a silver and bronze medal in the Athletics at the 2012 Summer Paralympics – Men's 400 metres#T36, 400m T36 and Athletics at the 2012 Summer Paralympics – Men's 800 metres#T36, 800m T36 respectively. He followed this up with two gold medals at the 2013 and 2015 World Championships, both in his favoured 800m event. Cerebral palsy (CP) is a group of movement disorders that appear in early childhood. Signs and symptoms vary among people and over time, but include poor coordination, spasticity, stiff muscles, Paresis, weak muscles, and tremors. There may be problems with sense, sensation, visual perception, vision, hearing, and speech. Often, babies with cerebral palsy do not roll over, sit, crawl or walk as early as other children. Other symptoms may include seizures and problems with cognition, thinking or reasoning.
