Gradius III
''Gradius III'' is a 1989 scrolling shooter video game developed and published by Konami, originally released for the arcades in Japan and other parts of Asia on December 11, 1989. It is the third game in the ''Gradius'' series. The game was ported to the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in Japan in 1990 and North America in 1991, and served as a launch title for the system in North America. The arcade version would never see the light of day in the West until it was included alongside '' Gradius IV'' in a two-in-one compilation (''Gradius III & IV'') for the PlayStation 2 and in the '' Gradius Collection'' for the PlayStation Portable. Miki Higashino
is a Japanese video game composer best known for her works in the ''Suikoden'' series. Biography Miki Higashino first began composing video game music as a student employed by Konami and contributed to various minor products, often uncredited or under the alias MIKI-CHAN or MIKI-CHANG. Her substantial early works include the '' Gradius'' soundtrack in collaboration with the Konami Kukeiha Club in 1985. Higashino has since been involved in over a dozen projects and compilations. Aside from being the primary composer for the original ''Suikoden'' soundtrack, she also worked on the ''Suikoden II'' soundtrack, a 105 track effort which she composed in its entirety save 7 songs by Keiko Fukami and 1 song by Tappy Iwase. , stylized as KuKeiHa CLUB, is a band that was formed by Motoaki Furukawa, a composer, arranger, and producer working for the game firm Konami, after his work on ''Gradius III'' back in 1990. It is often confused with コナミ矩形波倶楽部 (Konami Kukeiha Club), Konami's team of composers (music in Konami games are credited to Konami Kukeiha Club, not Kukeiha Club).
