Grace Theological Seminary
Grace Theological Seminary (GTS) is a conservative evangelical Christian seminary located in Winona Lake, Indiana. GTS is now part of Grace College & Seminary and is associated with Charis Fellowship, before 2018 known as the Fellowship of Grace Brethren Churches. Alva J. McClain, the first president, and Herman A. Hoyt, the second president, founded the seminary in 1937. Its mission statement is: "Grace Theological Seminary is a learning community dedicated to teaching, training, and transforming the whole person for local church and global ministry." The seminary received school accreditation by the North Central Association and has been awarded accreditation by the Association of Theological Schools in the United States and Canada. Robert Clouse (professor)
Robert G. Clouse (August 26, 1931 – May 8, 2016) was an American religious academic who was a professor at Indiana State University, Terre Haute, Indiana. Education and career Robert G. Clouse was born in Mansfield, Ohio on August 26, 1931. He began his education at Ashland College and received his BA in history from Bryan College. He earned his BD from Grace Theological Seminary in 1957. Clouse was awarded his MA in 1960 and PhD in 1963 from the University of Iowa. Clouse taught history at several colleges and universities, spending the bulk of his career at Indiana State University. He was visiting professor at the University of Illinois, Indiana University, and Juniata College, where he was the J. Omar Good Visiting Professor of Christianity. Mark James Keough (born September 30, 1953) is a former American businessman and a former Christian pastor, radio host, educator, and politician from The Woodlands, Texas, who has been serving as the Montgomery County County Judge since January 2019. Homer Kent
Homer Austin Kent, Jr. (13 August 1926 - 30 September 2020) taught from 1949 to 1999 at Grace Theological Seminary and Grace College in Winona Lake, IN. While there he taught New Testament and Greek and was Dean of the Seminary from 1962 to 1976 when he became President of Grace College and Seminary until 1986. He has also taught around the world in Israel, France, Central African Republic, Hungary and around the U.S. Not only is he an educator, but he is also authored many books and Bible commentaries. Personal life Homer was born in Washington, D.C., on August 13, 1926 and lived there until he was 14 years of age. At the age of 14, he moved to Winona Lake, IN when his father, Homer A. Louie Giglio ( ; born June 30, 1958) is an American Christian pastor. He is the leader of Passion City Church in Atlanta. The founder of the Passion Movement, he is an author and public speaker. Trinity International University (TIU) is an evangelical Christian university headquartered in Bannockburn, Illinois. It comprises Trinity College, a theological seminary (Trinity Evangelical Divinity School), and a law school ( Trinity Law School which is located in Santa Ana, California). David Dockery
David Samuel Dockery (born October 28, 1952, Tuscaloosa, Alabama) is the President of the International Alliance for Christian Education. He is also Distinguished Professor of Theology and on April 19, 2023 was elected the 10th President of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. The Dani (also spelled Ndani) are an ethnic group from the New Guinea Highlands, Central Highlands of Western New Guinea in Baliem Valley, Highland Papua, Indonesia. Around 100,000 people live in the Baliem Valley, consisting of representatives of the Dani tribes in the lower and upper parts of the valley each 20,000 and 50,000 in the middle part (with a total of 90,000 people).
