Grace Gaustad
Grace Gaustad is a Los Angeles-based singer and songwriter. Gaustad rose to prominence in 2018 when they launched a YouTube channel with their performance of Hozier's "Take Me to Church" which received more than 25 million views. ''Welcome to Jupiter 1.0'', their second EP, was released in 2021. Gaustad released their debut album, ''BLKBX: wht r u hding'', in August 2021. The album features connections with Gaustad's charity, the BLKBX Project and addresses Grace's experiences with bullying and growing up as part of the LGBTQ+ community. "Take Me to Church" is a song by Irish singer-songwriter Hozier. It was released as his debut single on 13 September 2013, originally featuring on his extended play of the same name, before being featured as the opening track of his 2014 debut album ''Hozier''. A struggling musician at the time of its composition, Hozier wrote and recorded the song in the attic of his parents' home in County Wicklow. A mid-tempo soul song, its lyrics use religious terminology to describe a romantic relationship in the face of Church discrimination. Colorado Springs Nightclub Shooting
On November 19–20, 2022, a mass shooting occurred at Club Q, an LGBTQ nightclub in Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States. Five people were killed, and 25 others were injured, 19 of them by gunfire. The accused, 22-year-old Anderson Lee Aldrich, was also injured and taken to a local hospital. Aldrich was charged and remanded in custody. Background Club Q is located at the 3430 block of North Academy Boulevard and opened in 2002.
