Carlo Gozzi
__NOTOC__ Carlo, Count Gozzi (; 13 December 1720 – 4 April 1806) was an Italian (Venetian) playwright and champion of Commedia dell'arte. Early life Gozzi was born and died in Venice; he came from a family of minor Venetian aristocracy, the Tiepolos. At a young age, his parents were no longer able to support him financially, so he joined the army in Dalmatia. Three years later, he had returned to Venice and joined the Granelleschi Society. This society was dedicated to the pursuit of preservation of Tuscan literature from the influence of foreign culture; it was particularly interested in saving traditional Italian comedy such as Commedia dell'arte. Works Pietro Chiari and Carlo Goldoni, two Venetian writers, were moving away from the old style of Italian theatre, which threatened the work of the Granelleschi Society. Simone Gozzi
Simone Gozzi (born 13 April 1986) is an Italian footballer who plays as a right-back. Club career Born in Reggio Emilia, Emilia–Romagna, Gozzi started his career at hometown club Reggiana. On 6 July 2007 he was signed by Serie B team Modena F.C. in co-ownership deal. He made 25 starts that season. On 23 June 2008 Modena bought the remain 50% registration rights. On 19 July 2011 he was signed by Serie A team Cagliari, on loan for €100,000, with an option to purchase half of the registration rights. Gasparo Gozzi
Gasparo, count Gozzi (4 December 1713 – 26 December 1786) was a Venetian critic and dramatist. Life and works Gasparo Gozzi was the first of eleven children born to the Venetian Count Jacopo Antonio and Angela Tiepolo, who was also of noble family. His younger brother was Carlo Gozzi. After early studies at home with tutors, he entered the College of Murano, where he acquired a solid liberal arts education and then followed courses in mathematics and law, although his interests were already firmly turned to literature. In 1739, he married the poet Luisa Bergalli, by whom he was eventually to have five children. In 1747 they undertook the management of the theatre of Sant'Angelo in Venice, with Gozzi supplying the performers with dramas chiefly translated from the French. Anders Gozzi
Anders Gozzi (born ) is a Swedish former professional ice hockey player and currently the general manager of the AIK IF organization. In his career as a professional ice hockey player he played for AIK, Brynäs IF, and Düsseldorfer EG. In his first season with AIK, in the 1986–87 season, the team became promoted to Elitserien. He played in AIK during the majority of his career, and scored 315 points in 579 Elitserien (SEL) games. He became Elitserien champions with Brynäs IF in the 1992–93 season. He ended his ice hockey player career with AIK in the 2003–04 season, when the team played in HockeyAllsvenskan. He also was the general manager of AIK that season, and in the 2004–05 season he also became an assistant coach, replacing Tomas Winje mid-season.
