Gowdanapalya is one of the residential localities in Bangalore, India. It is situated in the south of the city, very close to the highway leading to Kanakapura. Located in South Bangalore, Kumaraswamy Layout is a sub locality in Banashankari. History Kumaraswamy Layout was formed in the late 1970s by the BDA. Padmanabhanagar is a posh residential locality in South Bangalore, India, covering an area of 1.68 km2 It's one of the zones of BBMP. Padmanabhanagar has a very famous park called Lakshmikanta Park. This park houses Lakshmi Kantha temple. It was looked after by residents association, in 2018 the corporator allotted funds and developed it further. The park was eyed for its medicinal trees and was sanctioned to be cut down completely and set up a landscaped area but the senior citizens of the locality who nurtured the park protested and stopped it. It is surrounded by Kumaraswamy Layout, Gowdanapalya, Chennamanakere, Kathriguppe, Kadirenahalli, Uttarahalli and Chikkakalasandra. It is a constituency in the Karnataka legislative assembly. Namma Metro ("Our Metro" in Kannada), also known as Bengaluru Metro, is a rapid transit system serving the city of Bengaluru, India. Green Line (Namma Metro)
Green Line of Namma Metro was built along with the Purple Line during the first phase of construction of the metro rail system for the city of Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. The 30.5 km line connects Nagasandra in the northwest to Silk Institute in the south. The line connects the industrial centers of Peenya and Yelahanka in the north with the central hub of Majestic and the southern residential areas of Bangalore ( Basavanagudi, Jayanagar, Banshankari etc.).
