Govinda Subba
Govinda Subba Limbu () is the first Governor of Province No. 1 of Nepal. In a meeting on 17 January 2018, the government of Nepal appointed him as the Chief of State of Province No. 1. He is a professor at Centre for Nepal and Asian Studies (CNAS) of Tribhuvan University. He was involved in Nepali Communist Movement with ANNFSU in Dhankuta before joining NC. Ratneshwar Lal Kayastha
Ratneshwar Lal Kayastha (born 3 May 1944) is a Nepalese politician and former Governor of Province No. 2. He was appointed as a governor of Province No. 2 by the Government of Nepal on 17 January 2018. He served as a Governor of Province No. 2 from 19 January 2018 to 03 November 2019. Earlier, he was the Secretary at Ministry of Agriculture and Director General at Department of Irrigation, Nepal. Kayastha began his political career with Federal Socialist Forum, Nepal in the 2004. Mohan Raj Malla (, died 26 May 2021) was a Nepalese politician and the first Governor of Sudurpashchim Province. He was appointed Governor, as per the Article 163 (2) of the Constitution of Nepal by the President Bidya Devi Bhandari on the recommendation of the Council of Ministers of the Government of Nepal on 19 January 2019. He was also former village assembly chief and national assembly member of the Panchayat regime. Political Life He started his political life when he was 21 years old. He served as a member of Rastriya Panchayat for nine years from 1980 to 1989. He was a village chief in Doti for a term and served as the Kailali district assembly vice-president and Tikapur Development Committee chairperson during the Panchayat era. Anuradha Koirala
Anuradha Koirala (born Anuradha Gurung on 14 April 1949) is a social activist and the founder of Maiti Nepal, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping victims of slavery, sex trafficking. She was appointed as 1st Governor of Bagmati Province from (17 January 2018 – 3 November 2019) by the Government of Nepal. Koirala was the first child of the colonel Pratap Singh Gurung and Laxmi Devi Gurung. She belonged to an educated family and was educated at St Joseph Convent School. Before she started Maiti-Nepal, she spent 20 years as a teacher, teaching English in different schools in Kathmandu. Maiti Nepal operates a rehabilitation home in Kathmandu, as well as transit homes at the Indo-Nepal border towns, preventive homes in the countryside, and an academy in Kathmandu. Dhankuta ( ) is a hill town and the headquarters of Dhankuta District in Koshi Province in Eastern Nepal. According to 2011 Nepal census, it has population of 26,440 inhabitants. Somnath Adhikari (born 6 January 1951) affectionately known as Pyasi (meaning "thirsty" in Nepali), is a Nepalese politician who served as the 2nd Governor of Province No. 1 of Nepal.
