The 32nd Annual Gotham Awards, presented by The Gotham Film & Media Institute, were held on November 28, 2022. The nominees were announced on October 25, 2022, by Angelica Ross and Jeffrey Sharp. The Gotham Film & Media Institute (also simply the Gotham), formerly known as the Independent Filmmaker Project (IFP), is a membership-based, not-for-profit organization dedicated to independent film. James Gray (born April 14, 1969) is an American film director and screenwriter. Since his feature debut '' Little Odessa'' in 1994, he has made seven other features, five of which competed for the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival.
