Gorkoye (Novosibirsk Oblast)
Gorkoye () is a salt lake on the border between Bagansky District, Bagansky and Kupinsky District, Kupinsky districts of Novosibirsk Oblast, Russia. Description Gorkoye is almost round in shape. Its area is 741.7 . The lake is located 47 kilometers from Kupino, Novosibirsk Oblast, Kupino near the village of Novoklyuchi, about from Novosibirsk. to the southeast there is a smaller lake also named Gorkoye, close to Osinniki (Novosibirsk Oblast), Osinniki village.Google Earth The lake contains a high concentration of salt. In winter the lake does not freeze, and in autumn it forms a large amount of saltpeter. Fauna The lake is inhabited by orange-coloured crustaceans from the genus Brine shrimp, Artemia with a length of about 7 mm. Tourism Along the coast of the lake, about 60 small wooden houses have been built for tourists. The curative mud from the lake is popular among visitors. Sentinel-2
Sentinel-2 is an Earth observation mission from the Copernicus Programme that acquires optical imagery at high spatial resolution (10 m to 60 m) over land and coastal waters. The mission's Sentinel-2A and Sentinel-2B satellites were joined in orbit in 2024 by a third, Sentinel-2C, and in the future by Sentinel-2D, eventually replacing the A and B satellites, respectively.
