Gordon Purcell (born February 14, 1959) is an Americans, American comics artist, perhaps best known for his ''Star Trek (DC Comics), Star Trek'' work, in particular his realistic renditions of the actors who play that franchise's characters, as well as those of similarly licensed books, such as ''The X-Files (comics), The X-Files'', ''Xena: Warrior Princess'', ''Lost in Space'', ''Godzilla (comics), Godzilla'', ''Indiana Jones (comics), The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles'', ''Barb Wire (character), Barb Wire'', and ''List of Terminator comics, The Terminator''. The Minnesota Historical Society (MNHS) is a Nonprofit organization, nonprofit Educational institution, educational and cultural institution dedicated to preserving the history of the U.S. state of Minnesota. It was founded by the Minnesota Territory, territorial Minnesota Legislature, legislature in 1849, almost a decade before History of Minnesota#Statehood, statehood. The Society is named in the Minnesota Constitution. It is headquartered in the Minnesota History Center in downtown Saint Paul. ''The Flash'' is an ongoing American comic book series featuring the DC Comics superhero of the Flash (comics), same name. Throughout its publication, the series has primarily focused on two characters who have worn the mantle of the Flash: Barry Allen, the second Flash (1959–1985, 2010–2020), and Wally West, the third Flash (1987–2008, 2021–present).
