Goran Čengić
Goran Čengić (21 April 1946 – 14 June 1992) was a Yugoslav handball player who played for RK Bosna Sarajevo, RK Mlada Bosna, RK Crvena zvezda and the Yugoslavia men's national handball team, Yugoslavia national handball team. Early life He was born in Sarajevo, Socialist Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, PR Bosnia and Herzegovina, Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, FPR Yugoslavia in 1946 to Ferid "Fićo" (1910–1986) and Nataša (née Zimonjić). Both of his parents were Yugoslav Partisans in World War II. His father, Ferid Čengić, served in Sarajevo's Partisan municipal committee and in the city council and later was list of mayors of Sarajevo, mayor of Sarajevo from 1947 to 1948. His mother was a descendant of the old Serbian Orthodox family of Zimonjić from Herzegovina. Grbavica ( sr-cyrl, Грбавица) is a neighbourhood of the city of Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Today it is part of the municipality of Novo Sarajevo and administratively distinguished between Grbavica I and Grbavica II. The area was developed as a new residential neighbourhood by the authorities of Socialist Yugoslavia, on the west bank of the Miljacka river. Stjepan "Stipe" Mesić (; born 24 December 1934) is a Croatia, Croatian lawyer and politician who served as the president of Croatia from 2000 to 2010. Duško Kondor ( sr-cyr, Душко Кондор; 10 June 1947 – 22 February 2007) was a Bosnian human rights activist, a co-founder of the Helsinki Committee for Human Rights in Bosnia and Herzegovina (leading its Human Rights Education department), and a professor of sociology and philosophy. Assassination Kondor and his daughter were attacked on 22 February 2007 by local gangsters with machine guns. He was killed and she was severely injured.
