Gopalaswamy Kasturirangan
Gopalaswamy Iyenger Kasturirangan (12 October 1930 – 19 August 2020) was a cricketer who played first-class cricket in India from 1948 to 1963. Kasturirangan was an opening bowler who bowled "sharp inswingers ... off the wrong foot".Sujit Mukherjee, ''Playing for India'', Orient Longman, New Delhi, 1988, p. 60. He played cricket for the Mysore University team in the Rohinton Baria Trophy from 1947–48 to 1950–51, taking three wickets in the final in his last season, when Mysore University won. Kasturirangan made his first-class debut in the 1948–49 season for Mysore in the Ranji Trophy. In 1951–52 Ranji Trophy matches he took 12 wickets at an average of 10.33. He was selected to tour the West Indies with India in 1952–53 but declined the invitation and was replaced by N. Kannayiram. Gopalaswamy Mahendraraja
Gopalaswamy Mahendraraja (1956 – 28 December 1994), also known as Mahattaya was a member of Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam who was killed for leaking secrets to India's RAW. Personal life Gopalaswamy Mahendraraja was related to Velupillai Prabhakaran, former LTTE leader. He was born in Point Pedro. LTTE Mahattaya joined the LTTE in 1978. In 1987 he became the deputy leader of the LTTE, and in 1989 he became the head of the short-lived People's Front of Liberation Tigers, a political party founded by the LTTE. Mahattaya was the person who was leading most of the attacks done by LTTE when Prabhakaran was in India until 1986. Mahattaya was sent to Jaffna by Prabhakaran to inquire into the conflict matters that arose between LTTE and the University of Jaffna, in 1986, when a university student Vijetharan was kidnapped and killed by the Kittu group. Kurma Venu Gopalaswamy
K. V. Gopalaswamy (or Kurma Venu Gopalaswamy) (Telugu: కూర్మా వేణు గోపాలస్వామి) (1903–1983) was an advocate, playwright and administrator in India. He was the first professor of law at Andhra University and the first honorary professor of theatre arts and chairman of the Faculty of Arts. He was born on 19 December 1903. He was the son of Sir Kurma Venkata Reddy Naidu, the former governor of Madras Presidency. He has one sister. He did Bar-at-Law.
