''Goo'' is the sixth full-length studio album by American alternative rock band Sonic Youth, released on June 26, 1990, by DGC Records. For this album, the band sought to expand upon its trademark alternating guitar arrangements and the layered sound of their previous album ''Daydream Nation'' (1988) with songwriting that was more topical than past works. Coming off the success of ''Daydream Nation'', Nick Sansano returned to engineer ''Goo'', but veteran producer Ron Saint Germain was chosen by Sonic Youth to finish mixing the album following Sansano's dismissal. ''Goo'' was a critical and commercial success upon its release, peaking at number 96 on the Billboard 200, US ''Billboard'' 200, their highest chart position to date. Koo Hye-sun (; born November 9, 1984) is a South Korean actress, singer-songwriter, director and artist. She gained widespread recognition in the television dramas '' Hearts of Nineteen'' (2006), ''The King And I'' (2007), ''Boys Over Flowers'' (2009), '' Take Care of Us, Captain'' (2012), '' Angel Eyes'' (2014), ''Blood'' (2015). Gray goo (also spelled as grey goo) is a hypothetical global catastrophic scenario involving molecular nanotechnology in which out-of-control self-replicating machines consume all biomass (and perhaps also everything else) on Earth while building many more of themselves, a scenario that has been called '' ecophagy'' . The original idea assumed machines were designed to have this capability, while popularizations have assumed that machines might somehow gain this capability by accident. Self-replicating machines of the macroscopic variety were originally described by mathematician John von Neumann, and are sometimes referred to as von Neumann machines or clanking replicators. Gastric outlet obstruction (GOO) is a medical condition where there is an obstruction at the level of the pylorus, which is the outlet of the stomach. Individuals with gastric outlet obstruction will often have recurrent vomiting of food that has accumulated in the stomach, but which cannot pass into the small intestine due to the obstruction. The stomach often dilates to accommodate food intake and secretions. Causes of gastric outlet obstruction include both benign causes, such as peptic ulcer disease affecting the area around the pylorus, and malignant causes, such as gastric cancer. Goo Kim Fui ( zh, t=古今輝, p=Gǔ Jīnhuī, 1835–1908) was an influential Chinese merchant, community leader, and philanthropist. He was a defender of the Chinese people during the exclusion act in Honolulu in the 1880s and played an instrumental role in uniting the local Chinese people. Goo's efforts to protect their rights from prejudices against Chinese immigrants meant that many Chinese were able to prosper in their work and living. Goo Hara
Goo Hara (; ; January 3, 1991 – November 24, 2019), also known mononymously as Hara, was a South Korean singer and actress. She was a member of the K-pop girl group Kara, and had also appeared in television dramas including '' City Hunter'' (2011). She made her debut as a soloist in July 2015 with the release of her EP '' Alohara (Can You Feel It?)''. After Kara disbanded in 2016, she continued her solo career at another agency, KeyEast. In June 2019, she signed with Production Ogi and continued her solo activities in Japan where she was well received by fans. Baka No Uta
() is the debut studio album by Japanese singer-songwriter and musician Gen Hoshino. Under Kakubarhythm, it was first issued as a limited LP record on 16 June 2010, before releasing as a CD album through Speedstar Records and Labels United on 23 June. Hoshino, then known as the leader, guitarist, and marimba player of the instrumental band Sakerock, began work on the album after being approached by Labels United's parent company Daisyworld to make a solo debut. Covering topics of everyday life, ''Baka no Uta'' is a Japanese rock and pop album with a sound that was described as calm and lonely. The album compiles new tracks, two lyrical Sakerock covers, and re-recordings of songs Hoshino had released on a 2005 CD-R disc and 2007 CD-bundled photo booklet.
