Golov Anatoly Grigoryevich
Yuri Vasilyevich Golov (; 22 July 1937 – 9 January 2014) was a Russian Association football, footballer who primarily played as a Forward (association football), forward. Golov played in the Soviet Top League and Soviet First League with FC Volga Gorky. He also played in the Soviet First League with FC Sirius Zhovti Vody, FC Avangard Zhovti Vody and FC Metallurg Kuibyshev. Biography Yuri Golov debuted as a professional footballer in 1961 at the age of 25 with the club Raketa Gorky. Three years later, at Volga Gorky, in his first match against FC Dinamo Moscow, he scored the winning goal, at the Dynamo Stadium (Moscow), Dynamo Stadium, against Lev Yashin. He is also the ninth player with the most goals in the club's history, with 26. After four seasons and 156 games played, he was transferred to FC Avanhard Zhovti Vody, FC Avanhard for one season. Lev Ivanovich Yashin (; 22 October 1929 – 20 March 1990) was a Soviet professional footballer considered by many to be the greatest goalkeeper in the history of the sport. He was the first and only goalkeeper to win a Ballon d'Or, a feat which no other goalkeeper has been able to accomplish to this day. FC Volga Ulyanovsk () is a professional association football club based in Ulyanovsk, Russia. It will return to the second-tier Russian First League for the 2025–26 season. FC Volga Nizhny Novgorod () was a Russian football club from Nizhny Novgorod, founded in 1998. In 2008, FC Volga won the Ural-Povolzhye (Volga Region in Russian) zone of the Russian Second Division and advanced to the Russian First Division. In 2010 they promoted to the Russian Premier League. FC Avanhard Zhovti Vody is a Ukrainian amateur football club from Zhovti Vody, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. In 1959–70 as Avanhard the club participated in the championship of the Ukrainian SSR among teams of masters (professional). Since 1993 it was known as Sirius and in 1994 moved to Kryvyi Rih. Central Dynamo Stadium was a stadium in Moscow, Russia. It was built in 1928 and held 36,540 people. It was the home ground for Dynamo Moscow. It was central venue of the All-Soviet Dynamo sports society and carried special name of ''Central'' to denote its importance. Until the construction of the Central Lenin Stadium in 1956, the Central Dynamo Stadium was the central sports facility in Moscow. The stadium was one of the venues of the football tournament of the 1980 Summer Olympics. A new stadium was built on the same spot and is named VTB Arena.
