Kneževo ( sr-cyr, Кнежево), formerly Skender Vakuf ( sr-cyrl, Скендер Вакуф), is a town and municipality located in northwestern Bosnia and Herzegovina. Administratively, it is a part of the Republika Srpska entity. As of 2013, it has a population of 9,793 inhabitants. Name Up until the 1992-1995 Bosnian War, the town was known as Skender Vakuf.
