''Golden River'' () is a 1976 Soviet adventure film directed by Venyamin Dorman. Plot The film takes place in 1923. Aleksandr Kaydanovskiy
Alexander Leonidovich Kaidanovsky (; 23 July 1946 — 2 December 1995) was a Soviet and Russian actor and film director. His best known roles are in films such as ''Stalker'' (1979)'', At Home Among Strangers'' (1974), and '' The Bodyguard'' (1979). Prior to pursuing an acting career, Kaidanovsky attended technical college where he trained to become a welder. In 1965 he started studying acting at The Rostov Theatre School and the Shchukin theatrical school in Moscow. Before completing the course he took his first part in the film ''The Mysterious Wall'' (1967) and upon graduation in 1969, he worked as stage actor, making his debut at the Vakhtangov Theatre in 1969. In 1971, he was invited to join the prestigious Moscow Arts Theatre, a rare privilege for a 25-year-old graduate. Mikael Leonovich Tariverdiev, : (15 August 1931 – 25 July 1996, also Mikayel Levoni Tariverdian) was a prominent Soviet composer of Armenian descent. He headed the Composers' Guild of the Soviet Cinematographers' Union from its inception and is most famous for his movie scores, primarily the score to ''Seventeen Moments of Spring''. Biography Mikael Tariverdiev was born in Tbilisi, Georgian SSR to Armenian parents, but lived and worked in Russia. His father, Levon Tariverdiev, was from Baku but a native of Nagorno-Karabakh. His mother, Satenik, was Georgian Armenian. He studied at the Komitas State Conservatory of Yerevan for two years and then graduated from the Moscow Gnessin Institute in the class of Aram Khachaturian in 1957. Tariverdiev wrote over 100 romances and four operas, including the comic opera '' Count Cagliostro'' and the mono-opera "The Waiting". Nikolay Vladimiriovich Olyalin (; 22 May 1941 — 17 November 2009) was a Soviet- Ukrainian actor of Russian ethnicity. Biography Early life As a child, Olyalin took drama classes at school. In 1959, when his father sent him to a military academy in Leningrad, hoping that he would become an army topographer, Olyalin chose to study in the Leningrad State Institute of Theater, Music and Cinematography instead. After graduating at 1964, he joined the Krasnoyarsk Children's Theater, where - in spite of having tense relations with the director - he was considered the best comical actor among the cast. There, he met his wife, Nella, who was the second secretary of the local Komsomol. Olyalin made his debut on screen depicting a test pilot in the 1965 film ''Days of Flight''.
