Golden Glory was a Muay Thai, kickboxing and mixed martial arts camp and management team, based in the Netherlands. Description Golden Glory was founded in 1999 by Bas Boon and Frederico Lapenda. Golden Glory's professional MMA and kickboxing roster included Semmy Schilt, Gilbert Yvel, Ilonka Elmont, Ramon Dekkers, Alistair Overeem, Marloes Coenen, Sergei Kharitonov, Gokhan Saki, Errol Zimmerman, Jon Olav Einemo, Ashwin Balrak, Nieky Holzken, Chalid Arrab, Bas Rutten and Alexandru Lungu (fighter), Alexandru Lungu who have fought in promotions such as K-1, Shooto, Hero's, K-1 HERO'S, Pancrase, PRIDE Fighting Championships, PRIDE FC, DREAM (Mixed Martial Arts), DREAM, Strikeforce (mixed martial arts), Strikeforce, and the Ultimate Fighting Championship, UFC. Sherdog
Sherdog is an American website devoted to the sport of mixed martial arts (MMA). It also has many forums and discussion pages on the many topics of MMA like records, promotions, etc. The site is a member of the CraveOnline network and provides MMA related content for ESPN.com. Chalid "Die Faust" Arrab (born May 28, 1975) is a German- Moroccan kickboxer and mixed martial artist. He trains at Team Golden Glory in Breda under Cor Hemmers. Biography and career Arrab's amateur boxing record of 34 Wins and 31 KOs out of 37 bouts has earned him the nickname "Die Faust" ("The Fist" in German). Nicolaas Hubertus Holzken (born December 16, 1983) is a Dutch kickboxer and professional boxer currently signed to ONE Championship, where he competes in the Lightweight#Kickboxing, Lightweight division. Ashwin Balrak (born 17 May 1975) is a Surinamese-Dutch professional kickboxer and lawyer. Career and recent arrest Balrak was a former WPKL European Kickboxing champion who also competed in K-1. John-Olav Einemo (born 10 December 1975) is a Norwegian retired mixed martial artist. He is also a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner, with the highlight of his career being the win in the ADCC Submission Wrestling World Championship in 2003 (88–98 kg weight class). Ramon Dekkers (4 September 1969 – 27 February 2013) was a Dutch professional Muay Thai fighter. He won multiple world and international titles in Muay Thai during the 1980s and 1990s.
