Golden Discs
Established in 1962 on Dublin’s Tara Street, Golden Discs is Ireland’s oldest home-entertainment specialist retail chain, with twenty outlets nationwide, and an online store as of November 2019. Their current offering includes music and film in physical formats, audio playback equipment, and pop-culture merchandise. The chain's presence around the country had diminished in the early part of the 2000s, making a significant loss by 2008 and entering examinership in 2009, with multiple store closures during this period. It returned to profitability in 2013 and has expanded its retail footprint since. Swords, Dublin
Swords ( or ), the county town of Fingal, is a large suburban town on the east coast of Ireland, situated ten kilometres north of Dublin city centre. The town was reputedly founded . Clonmel
Clonmel () is the county town and largest settlement of County Tipperary, Ireland. The town is noted in Irish history for its resistance to the Cromwellian army which sacked the towns of Drogheda and Wexford. With the exception of the townland of Suir Island, most of the borough is situated in the civil parish of "St Mary's" which is part of the ancient barony of Iffa and Offa East. Population The 2016 Census used a new boundary created by the Central Statistics Office (CSO) to define the town of Clonmel and Environs resulting in a population figure of 17,140. Mahon the Point Shopping Centre is the second largest shopping centre in Munster. Located in the Mahon area of Cork in Ireland, the centre was opened in February 2005. It has over 2000 free-of-charge indoor and outdoor parking spaces. Facilities The centre contains 120 stores, which range from clothing, chemists, homeware, bludgeoning tools and mobile phone providers. Of the clothing stores, there is a large Debenhams (shutdown as of April 2020) at the eastern end of the building, as well as smaller units including River Island, Next, Zara and Jack & Jones and other high street fashion brands. Blanchardstown Centre
The Blanchardstown Centre is one of Ireland's largest shopping centres, located in Blanchardstown, Dublin, Ireland. It opened in October 1996 and was extended in 2004 to create extra retail space. It lies in the administration of Fingal County Council. The Blanchardstown Centre is served by over 600 bus movements per day, and is close to Dublin's M50 radial motorway, and adjacent to the M3 motorway. In June 2016 the centre was sold to the Blackstone Group by Green Property for an estimated €950m.
