Golden Calf (award)
The Golden Calf () is the award of the Netherlands Film Festival, which is held annually in Utrecht. The award has been presented since 1981, originally in six categories: Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Feature Film, Best Short Film, Culture Prize and Honourable mention. In 2004, there were 16 award categories, mainly because in 2003 the categories Best Cinematography, Best Editing, Best Music, Best Production Design, Best Sound Design were added. Pierre Henri Martin Bokma (born 20 December 1955 in Paris) is a Dutch stage, television and film actor. Bokma received his professional training at the Maastricht Academy of Dramatic Arts. Peer Mascini
Petrus Johannes Maria "Peer" Mascini (23 March 1941 – 16 May 2019) was a Dutch actor and writer. He is well known for his work in ''Blind Date'' (1996) and ''De eenzame oorlog van Koos Tak'' (1996). ''Oeroeg'' (translated into English as "The Black Lake") is the first novel by Hella Haasse. Rik Launspach
Rik Launspach (born 19 July 1958, in Arnhem, Gelderland, The Netherlands) is a Dutch actor, writer and director. He is married to actress Marjolein Beumer and is the brother-in-law to Famke Janssen and Antoinette Beumer. Early life and career Launspach began his career in theatre, he was rejected four times, only the fifth time he was accepted at the theatre academy in Amsterdam. Immediately after graduation, he founded two theatre companies, ''The Case'' in 1986 and ''The Trust'' in 1988. Between those two years he was on stage almost every day. He played the lead roles in many films and TV shows and directed several pieces. In the late 1990s, he interrupted his career in the theatre, along with his wife Marjolein Beumer, to devote his time entirely to writing. ''The Northerners'' () is a 1992 Dutch film written and directed by Alex van Warmerdam. The film was selected as the Dutch entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 65th Academy Awards, but was not accepted as a nominee. This black comedy takes places in the 1960s, in a surreal Dutch new town consisting of only a single street.
