Golam Moshi
Golam Moshi is a Jatiya Party politician, and the former ambassador of Bangladesh to Saudi Arabia. He is the political secretary of Rowshan Ershad, the Leader of the Opposition in Bangladesh Parliament. Early life Moshi's father was Abdul Awwal, one of the founders of Awami League and Member of National Assembly of Pakistan. graduated from Dhaka Residential Model College. He completed his bachelor of law from the University of Dhaka. Career Moshi worked for a number of multinational companies such as AsiaSat, BP, General Atomics, Hong Kong Telecom and Total Gas. In September 2013, Moshi was expelled from Jatiya Party and joined the Kazi Zafar Ahmed fraction of the party. In February 2014, Rowshan Ershad appointed him her political secretary. Moshi was appointed the ambassador of Bangladesh to Saudi Arabia in February 2015. He replaced Md. Shahidul Islam who was appointed the High Commissioner of Bangladesh to Malaysia. Jatiya Party (Ershad)
The Jatiya Party ( bn, জাতীয় পার্টি, translit=Jatiyo Party, lit=National Party) is a conservative, nationalist political party in Bangladesh and is currently the main opposition in the Jatiya Sangsad, against the Awami League. The current chairman of the party is Ghulam Muhammad Quader. On 3 January 2019, the party announced its decision to join the Bangladesh Awami League-led Grand Alliance after having been in opposition for the previous parliamentary term. However, the party backtracked the next day and announced that it intended to remain part of the opposition. Currently, it holds Rangpur out of Bangladesh's 12 city corporations. Rowshan Ershad
Roushan Ershad (born 19 July 1943) is a Bangladesh Jatiya Party politician. She is the current Jatiya Sangsad member from Mymensingh-4 constituency and the incumbent Leader of the Opposition in the 11th parliament. She is the Chief Patron of the Jatiya Party (Ershad) and the widow of former Bangladesh president Hussain Muhammad Ershad. Political Career As the First Lady during 1982–1990, Ershad was active in social welfare and in promoting the rights of women and children. She was the chief patron of the Bangladesh Jatiya Mohila Sangstha. In 1975, Ershad became the founder-president of the Sena Paribar Kalliyan Samity (Armed Forces Family Welfare Association). Mohammad Javed Patwary
Mohammad Javed Patwary was a Bangladeshi police officer and a former Inspector General of Police of Bangladesh Police . Earlier, he served as Additional Inspector General of Police Special Branch (SB). After his retirement in 2020, he was appointed as the ambassador to Saudi Arabia by the Government of Bangladesh. Kazi Zafar Ahmed
Kazi Zafar Ahmad (; 1 July 193927 August 2015) was a Bangladeshi politician of the Jatiya Party, who was the Prime Minister of Bangladesh from 1989 to 1990. Early life Ahmed was born in 1939, in village: Kazi Bari Cheora Chauddagram Upazila, Comilla, British India (now Bangladesh), the son of Cheora Kazi Bari. He was a freedom fighter and a student leader at the University of Dhaka, where he obtained a M.A. degree in history. Political career Ahmed was a Maoist.
