Gokul Sharma
Gokul Sharma (born 25 December 1985) is an Indian cricketer who plays first-class cricket and List A cricket for Assam. He has also played for East Zone in the Duleep Trophy. Sharma is a right-handed middle order batsman and right-arm off break bowler. He made his first-class debut against Tamil Nadu at Guwahati in 2004–05 Ranji Trophy. He was the leading run-scorer for Assam in the 2017–18 Ranji Trophy, with 429 runs in six matches. 2018–19 Ranji Trophy
The 2018–19 Ranji Trophy was the 85th season of the Ranji Trophy, the premier first-class cricket tournament that took place in India between November 2018 and February 2019. Vidarbha were the defending champions. The final took place between Vidarbha and Saurashtra, starting on 3 February 2019. The 2017–18 Ranji Trophy was the 84th season of the Ranji Trophy, the premier first-class cricket tournament that took place in India between October 2017 and January 2018. Vidarbha won the tournament, beating Delhi by 9 wickets in the final, to win their first Ranji Trophy title. Vidarbha made their Ranji Trophy debut in the 1957–58 season, making it the third-longest wait before a team won their maiden title. The Tamil Nadu cricket team is a domestic cricket team run by Tamil Nadu Cricket Association representing the state of Tamil Nadu, India. Off Break
Off spin is a type of spin bowling in cricket. A bowler who uses this technique is called an off spinner. Off spinners bowl with their right-arm and a finger spin action. Their normal delivery is called an off break, which spins from left to right (from the bowler's perspective) when the ball bounces on the pitch. For a right-handed batsman, the ball breaks towards them from the off side, hence the name 'off break'. In cricket, the batting order is the sequence in which batters play through their team's innings, there always being two batters taking part at any one time.
