Gokarnanatheshwara Temple
The Gokarnanatheshwara Temple, otherwise known as Kudroli Sri Gokarnanatha Kshetra, is in the Kudroli area of Mangalore in Karnataka, India. It was consecrated by Narayana Guru. It is dedicated to Gokarnanatha, a form of Lord Shiva. This temple was built in 1912 by Adhyaksha HoigeBazar Koragappa. This temple is now accepted as "Aadi" by the Billava community. Gokarneshwor is a List of cities in Nepal, municipality in Kathmandu District in the Bagmati Province of Nepal that was established on 2 December 2014 by merging the former Village development committee (Nepal), Village development committees Sundarijal, Nayapati, Baluwa, Kathmandu, Baluwa, Jorpati and Gokarna, Nepal, Gokarna. The office of the municipality is that of the former Jorpati village development committee. The river Bagmati has its origin as the name Bagh Dwar situated in the middle of the Shivapuri jungle in this municipality. Shree Samsthana Gokarn Partagali Jeevottam Math or Partagali Math ( also known as ''Gokarna Matha'', ''Partagali Jivottama Math'') is the first Gaud Saraswat Mathas of the Dvaita order, a system established by Jagadguru Madhvacharya in the 13th century AD. Kushe Aunsi (; Gokarna Aunsi or ''Buwa ko Mukh Herne Din'') is a Nepalese Hindu lunar festival of celebrating fatherhood and paternal bonds, equivalent to the Father's Day celebration. The festival falls on the new moon day of the Hindu month of Bhadra (late August or early September). The cow-eared incarnation of lord Shiva— Gokarneswor Mahadev is also worshipped on this day. Kokarneswarar Temple, Thirukokarnam
The Kokarneswarar Temple is situated in town of Thirukokarnam located 5 kilometres from the town of Pudukkottai in the Tamil Nadu, India. The presiding deity is Kokarneswarar considered to be a form of the Hindu God Shiva. His consort Brihadambal is the family deity of the Thondaiman kings which ruled the princely Pudukkottai state. The Pallava-era rock-cut temple was constructed by the Pallava king Mahendravarman I sometime around the middle of the 7th century CE.
