The Rookwood Weir is a concrete weir, built from 2020 to 2023 on the Fitzroy River, near Gogango, about 50 km south-west of Rockhampton, Queensland, Australia. Cyclone Marcia
Severe Tropical Cyclone Marcia was a powerful tropical cyclone that made landfall at its peak strength over central Queensland, near Shoalwater Bay on 20 February 2015. The Fitzroy River ( Darumbal: ) is a river in Central Queensland, Australia. Its catchment covers an area of , making it the largest river catchment flowing to the eastern coast of Australia.
