Godsized
Godsized is a four-piece English rock band. Formed in 2008, they name their influences as Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, and the alcoholic beverage Jägermeister. They have been the subject of feature articles and reviews in '' Kerrang!'', '' Metal Hammer'' and '' Rock Sound'' magazines, and their track "Fight and Survive" was played on BBC Radio's ''Friday Rock Show''. The band's lineup comprises Glen Korner (vocals and guitars), Chris Charles (guitars), Gavin Kerrigan (bass), and Dan Kavanagh (drums). Previous and founding members were Neil Fish (guitars) and Andy Robinson (drums). ''Kerrang!'' called them "cut from the same cloth" as Black Label Society (who toured Europe with Godsized as their support in 2011). Dan Kavanagh is a British rock drummer best known for his work with Jamie Lenman and Godsized Godsized is a four-piece English rock band. Formed in 2008, they name their influences as Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, and the alcoholic beverage Jägermeister. Black Label Society
Black Label Society is an American heavy metal band formed in Los Angeles, California in 1998 by guitarist/singer Zakk Wylde. To date, the band has released eleven studio albums, two live albums, two compilation albums, one EP, and three video albums. History ''Sonic Brew'' and Formation (1998–1999) In the early 1990s, Wylde had formed his own solo band Pride & Glory, playing a mixture of bluesy Southern rock with heavy metal. Black Sabbath
Black Sabbath were an English rock band formed in Birmingham in 1968 by guitarist Tony Iommi, drummer Bill Ward, bassist Geezer Butler and vocalist Ozzy Osbourne. ( , ; stylized Jägermeiſter) is a German digestif made with 56 herbs and spices. Developed in 1934 by Wilhelm and Curt Mast, it has an alcohol by volume of 35% ( 61 degrees proof, or US 70 proof). The ''Friday Rock Show'' was a radio show in the United Kingdom that was broadcast on BBC Radio 1 from 10pm to midnight on Friday nights, from 17 November 1978 until 2 April 1993. For most of its existence, it was hosted by Tommy Vance. Vance also hosted a television version for satellite channel VH1 in the 1990s. This series was axed in March 2002.
