Alvin Slaughter
Alvin Martin Slaughter (born July 17, 1955) is an American gospel musician, worship leader, and singer-songwriter. Career Slaughter is based out of New York City, where he was a member of the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir until the early 1990s, when he was signed by Integrity Music and began his solo career. He has been nominated for several Dove Awards and performed on the TBN television network. Slaughter is no longer signed to Integrity Music and hasn't released any official music since 2008. Alvin continues to travel and perform Christian concerts with his wife, sharing from her experiences as a former missionary to Haiti. Sparrow Records is a Christian music record label and a division of Universal Music Group. History Sparrow Records was founded in 1976 by Billy Ray Hearn, then artists and repertoire (A&R) director at Myrrh Records. Barry McGuire was the first artist signed to the label, followed quickly by John Michael Talbot and his brother Terry, Janny Grein, and Annie Herring of 2nd Chapter of Acts; all of whom released albums with Sparrow in May of that year. Donald James Moen (born June 29, 1950) is an American singer, pianist, and songwriter, specializing in contemporary worship music, Christian worship music. Early life and education Moen grew up in Two Harbors, Minnesota, Two Harbors, Minnesota, where he attended high school, graduating in 1968. Tom Brooks (born October 31, 1954) is an American music producer, arranger, engineer, and conductor. Abraham Laboriel López (born July 17, 1947) is a Mexican-American bassist who has played on over 4,000 recordings and soundtracks.
