Gocha R. Tsetskhladze
Gocha R. Tsetskhladze ( – 11 September 2022) was a Georgian-born British classical archaeologist who studied in Ukraine, Russia and England, at the University of Oxford. He taught at Royal Holloway, University of London and Melbourne University. Tsetskhladze became director of the central Anatolian Pessinus excavation site in 2009. His area of specialisation was Greek colonization. The University of Oxford is a collegiate university, collegiate research university in Oxford, England. Royal Holloway, University of London (RH), formally incorporated as Royal Holloway and Bedford New College, is a public university, public research university and a constituent college, member institution of the federal University of London. It has six schools, 21 academic departments and approximately 10,500 undergraduate and postgraduate students from more than 100 countries.
