''Goa'' is the soundtrack album by Yuvan Shankar Raja to the 2010 romantic comedy film of the same name, directed by Venkat Prabhu, and produced by Soundarya Rajinikanth's Ocher Studios, starring Jai, Vaibhav, Premji Amaran, Sneha, Piaa Bajpai and Melanie Marie Jobstreibitzer in prominent roles. Background The album consists of nine songs, composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, Venkat Prabhu's cousin and regular music director, joining together for the third time after delivering the successful chartbuster albums ''Chennai 600028'' (2007) and '' Saroja'' (2008). Yuvan Shankar Raja
Yuvan Shankar Raja or Abdul Haliq (born 31 August 1979) is an Indian film score and soundtrack composer and singer-songwriter. He mainly scores music for Tamil films. Considered a versatile composer, he is particularly known for his use of Western music elements and often credited with having introduced hip hop to the Tamil film and music industry and started the "era of remixes" in Tamil Nadu. Yuvan has won two Filmfare Awards South, five Mirchi Music Awards South, four Vijay Awards and three Tamil Nadu State Film Awards. Within a span of 25 years, Yuvan has worked on over 100 films. Being the youngest son of composer Ilaiyaraaja, he began his musical career in 1996, at the age of 16, when he composed the film score for '' Aravindhan''. Karthik Raja is an India composer based in Chennai, India. ''Airtel Super Singer 2'', the second season of the music competition reality show Airtel Super Singer, premiered on 7 July 2008. Judges for the show were Sujatha, P. Unnikrishnan and Srinivas. Chinmayi was the host of the show until January 2009 and was followed by Malini Yugendran (Hayma Malini) and Yugendran Vasudevan Nair. The voice trainer was Ananth Vaidyanathan. Ajesh is an Indian music composer & singer from Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He works primarily for the Tamil film industry. Early life Ajesh was born and brought up in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
