Its seat is the city of Tarnów, although the city is not part of the territory of the gmina. The gmina covers an area of , and as of 2006 its total population is 23,060. Zbylitowska Góra is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Tarnów, within Tarnów County, Lesser Poland Voivodeship, in southern Poland.
