Glyn Garner
Glyn Garner (born 9 December 1976) is a Welsh former professional association football, footballer who played as a goalkeeper (association football), goalkeeper. He made one appearance for the Wales national football team, Wales national team in 2006. Club career Born in Pontypool, Garner started his career at Cwmbran Town F.C., Cwmbran Town before moving to Llanelli A.F.C., Llanelli. In 2000, he joined Bury F.C., Bury for £5000, where he played over 140 games over five seasons. He turned down a new contract with Bury and joined east London side Leyton Orient F.C., Leyton Orient in May 2005 on a two-year contract. Manager Martin Ling described him as "a big, commanding goalkeeper who is widely rated as one of the best in the lower divisions." He went on to make nearly 100 appearances for Orient. In sport, a cap is a player's appearance in a game at international level. The term dates from the practice in the United Kingdom of awarding a cap to every player in an international match of rugby football and association football. In the early days of football, the concept of each team wearing a set of matching shirts had not been universally adopted, so each side would distinguish itself from the other by wearing a specific sort of cap. Cinderford Town F
Cinderford is a town and civil parish on the eastern fringe of the Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire, England. The population was 8,777 at the 2021 Census. The town came into existence in the 19th century, following the rapid expansion of the Forest of Dean Coalfield and the construction of Cinderford Ironworks. Its origins can be seen in the style and layout of the town, with long rows of identical terraced housing similar to those found in the mining villages of the South Wales Valleys. The Southern League is a football competition featuring semi-professional clubs from East Anglia, the South and Midlands of England, and South Wales.
