Glory Days (musical)
''Glory Days'' is a musical with music and lyrics by Nick Blaemire and a book by James Gardiner about four high school friends reuniting a year after graduation. The musical opened at the Signature Theatre in 2008 and was then produced on Broadway in 2008 but closed after one regular performance. Since 2008, it has had over 50 productions mounted around the world. Productions The musical premiered at the Signature Theatre, a professional regional theatre in Arlington, Virginia, from January 15 through February 17, 2008, where it was directed by Eric D. Schaeffer, the artistic director of the theatre, with musical staging by assistant director Matthew Gardiner. Musical accompaniment consisted of a four-piece band. AAA (band)
AAA (pronounced Triple A; also an acronym for Attack All Around) is a Japanese pop group signed to the label Avex Trax which debuted in September 2005. The name has the meaning of "challenging everything" or "against all odds", and the group is marketed by their label as a "super performance unit". The group was formed through Avex's own auditions, and originally consisted of five young men and three young women who had appeared in commercials and/or had prior experience as backup dancers for other Japanese stars, such as Ayumi Hamasaki and Ami Suzuki. Alexander Michael Brightman (born February 5, 1987) is an American actor and singer, best known for his work in musical theatre. ''Cry-Baby'' is a musical based on the 1990 John Waters film of the same name. The music is by Adam Schlesinger, lyrics by David Javerbaum and the book is by Mark O'Donnell and Thomas Meehan, who had previously done the book for the musical ''Hairspray'', also based on a John Waters film of the same name.
