Glenn Paul Johnstone (born 5 June 1967) is an English former footballer who played as a goalkeeper. He played in The Football League for Preston North End during the 1992–93 season. Preston () is a city on the north bank of the River Ribble in Lancashire, England. Morecambe ( ) is a seaside town and civil parish in the City of Lancaster district of Lancashire, England, on Morecambe Bay, part of the Irish Sea. In 2011 the parish had a population of 34,768. Name The first use of the name was by John Whitaker in his ''History of Manchester'' (1771), when he refers to the "æstury of Moricambe". It next appears four years later in ''Antiquities of Furness'', where the bay is described as "the Bay of Morecambe". The English Football League (EFL) is a league of professional football clubs from England and Wales. The 1992–93 season was the 94th completed season of the Football League. This season saw the birth of the Premier League. In 1992, all of the First Division clubs resigned from the Football League and, on 27 May 1992, the FA Premier League was formed as a limited company, which worked out of an office at the Football Association’s then headquarters, Lancaster Gate.
