Gladsaxe Stadion
Gladsaxe Stadium () is a sports center located on Gladsaxevej 200, Søborg, Gladsaxe Municipality, in Copenhagen, which is primarily used for association football matches. The stadium hosts a number of training courses for running the football, American Football, handball and softball and hosts a restaurant. The ground is the home ground of Akademisk Boldklub, Gladsaxe-Hero Boldklub, and Nordic Storm American Football Team (Competes in the European League of Football (ELF) - The highest level of american football in Europe) (rail size: 68 x 105 meters, and lighting: 700 lux.). The stadium has a capacity of 13,507, of which 7,707 are covered seats. The construction of the plant was started in 1938 and named Gladsaxe Idrætspark Marielyst. The inauguration of the facility took place on 26 May 1940. The 1st Division (''1. Division'') is the second-highest football league in Denmark, also known as NordicBet Liga for sponsorship reasons. From 1945 to 1991, the 1. Nordic Storm
The Nordic Storm is an American football team based in Copenhagen, Denmark. The Storm compete in the European League of Football (ELF) as a member of the North Division. The team plays its home games at Gladsaxe Stadium. History The Storm were announced as the 18th team to join the European League of Football on September 21, 2024. They are regarded as representing both Copenhagen and Malmö, Sweden, the two cities connected by the Øresund Bridge. This makes them the first ELF franchise in Scandinavia and the first one to represent two countries. Players from both Denmark and Sweden are considered homegrown players under the league's rules.
