''Gladiator II (Music from the Motion Picture)'' is the soundtrack album composed and conducted by Harry Gregson-Williams for the 2024 film ''Gladiator II'' by Ridley Scott. Carnyx
The ancient carnyx was a wind instrument used by the Celts during the Iron Age, between and . It was a type of trumpet made of bronze with an elongated S shape, held so that the long straight central portion was vertical and the short mouthpiece end section and the much wider bell were horizontal in opposed directions. The bell was styled in the shape of the head of an open-mouthed boar or other animal. It was used in warfare, probably to incite troops to battle and intimidate opponents, as Polybius recounts. Martin Tillman (born 6 November 1964) is a Swiss cellist and composer. Biography Tillman was born in Zürich, Switzerland, in 1964. He arrived in the US in 1988. He has since performed/composed on numerous films, television shows, commercials and international tours.
