''Give More Love'' is the nineteenth studio album by English musician Ringo Starr. It was recorded primarily in Starr's home studio in Los Angeles and was released on 15 September 2017 by UM. The album features Starr's frequent collaborators such as Joe Walsh, Dave Stewart, Gary Nicholson and Bob Malone, members of his All-Starr Band, and guest appearances by Starr's former Beatles bandmate Paul McCartney. Background Starr began working on the album following the release of '' Postcards from Paradise'' and a tour with his All-Starr Band. Starr initially recruited longtime collaborator David A. Stewart to help him produce a country album in Nashville, but ultimately ended up recording mostly rock tracks in his home studio. Alberta Cross are an Anglo-Swedish rock band, formed in 2005 in London, England by singer-guitarist Petter Ericson Stakee and bassist Terry Wolfers. In 2013 Wolfers left the band, leaving Stakee as the only permanent member. The band's official Facebook page lists band members as "Petter Ericson Stakee and friends!". ''Stop and Smell the Roses'' is the eighth studio album by English rock musician Ringo Starr. Released in October 1981, it followed the twin commercial failures of ''Ringo the 4th'' (1977) and ''Bad Boy (Ringo Starr album), Bad Boy'' (1978). The album includes the hit single "Wrack My Brain", written and produced by George Harrison, but otherwise failed to find commercial success. Jeffrey Lynne (born 30 December 1947) is an English musician, singer-songwriter and record producer. He is the co-founder and, latterly, sole member of the rock band Electric Light Orchestra (ELO) which was formed in 1970. He has written all of the band's music since 1972, including hits such as " Evil Woman", " Livin' Thing", "Telephone Line", " Mr. Blue Sky", " Don't Bring Me Down" and " Hold On Tight". Electric Light Orchestra
The Electric Light Orchestra (ELO) are an English rock band formed in Birmingham in 1970 by multi-instrumentalists Jeff Lynne and Roy Wood and drummer Bev Bevan. Their music is characterised by a fusion of pop and classical arrangements with futuristic iconography. After Wood's departure in 1972, Lynne became the band's sole leader, arranging and producing every album while writing nearly all of their original material. During their first run from 1970 to 1986, Lynne and Bevan were the group's only consistent members. "Back Off Boogaloo" is a song by the English rock musician Ringo Starr that was released as a non-album single in March 1972. Starr's former Beatles bandmate George Harrison produced the recording and helped Starr write the song, although he remained uncredited as a co-writer until 2017. Recording took place in London shortly after the pair had appeared together at Harrison's Concert for Bangladesh shows in August 1971.
