Giulia Perotti (born 29 August 2009) is an Italian artistic gymnast. She is the 2023 Junior World floor exercise champion and uneven bars and team bronze medalist. Gymnastics career Perotti began gymnastics when she was five years old. Junior 2022 Perotti made her international debut at the 2022 Tournoi International in Combs-la-Ville, France. She won the gold medal in the all-around by over a point ahead of the silver medalist. In the event finals, she won the gold medals on the uneven bars and balance beam, and she finished fifth on the floor exercise. Additionally, the Italian team won the gold medal. Then at the 2022 Italian Gold Championships, she won the gold medal in the all-around and the bronze medals on the balance beam and floor exercise. 2023 Perotti began the 2023 season at the 1st Italian Serie A, winning the gold medal in the all-around and the silver medal with the team in the A2 division. Vercelli (; pms, Vërsèj ), is a city and ''comune'' of 46,552 inhabitants (January 1, 2017) in the Province of Vercelli, Piedmont, northern Italy. Haruka Nakamura (born 18 May 2008) is a Japanese artistic gymnast. She is the 2023 Junior World all-around and team champion. She is also the 2023 Junior Asian team, all-around, uneven bars, and floor exercise champion. Career Nakamura competed at the 2022 All-Japan Championships where she finished fiftieth all-around in the qualification round. Then at the 2022 All-Japan Event Championships, she placed seventh on the uneven bars and fifth on the balance beam. She helped her club, Namba Gymnastics, placing eighth at the 2022 All-Japan Team Championships. Nakamura made her international debut at the 2023 WOGA Classic in Frisco, Texas. She won the silver medal in the all-around by only 0.150 behind American gymnast Zoey Molomo. She was selected to compete at the 2023 Junior World Championships in Antalya, Turkey. Gymnastics Floor
In gymnastics, the floor is a specially prepared exercise surface, which is considered an apparatus. It is used by both male and female gymnasts. The gymnastics event performed on the floor is called floor exercise. The English abbreviation for the event in gymnastics scoring is FX. A spring floor is used in all of gymnastics to provide more bounce, and also help prevent potential injuries to lower extremity joints of gymnasts due to the nature of the apparatus, which includes the repeated pounding required to train it.
