Giting Ng Pasig
The Giting ng Pasig (literally meaning "''Bravery of Pasig''" or "''Valor of Pasig''") is a local political organization based in Pasig, Philippines. The group has made a name for itself by promoting progressive policies and advocating for genuine change within the city. History Giting ng Pasig was launched in July 1, 2021 as a local alliance for Vico Sotto's re-election bid in May 2022 elections. The party was then affiliated under Aksyon Demokratiko, who distanced themselves from national politics to focus for their local duties. He then choose former Pasig Congressman Dodot Jaworski to be his running-mate. Sotto was challenged by then-incumbent Vice Mayor Iyo Bernardo, who is known for being an ally of Bobby Eusebio, which Sotto defeated in 2019. The coalition emerged as victorious, with Sotto and Jaworski's victory, with 10 councilors seated including actress Angelu de Leon. In 2025 elections, the whole slate of Giting ng Pasig led by incumbent Mayor Vico Sotto won. ...

Vico Sotto
Victor Ma. Regis "Vico" Nubla Sotto (; born June 17, 1989) is a Filipino politician who has served as the 12th mayor of Pasig since 2019. He previously served as a member of the Sangguniang Panlungsod, Pasig City Council for the first district from 2016 to 2019. A member of the Sotto family, he studied political science at the Ateneo de Manila University, where he graduated in 2011. He entered politics in 2016 when he ran as an independent candidate for councilor and won, serving one term in the local legislature. Sotto attracted media attention in 2019 Pasig local elections, 2019 when he defeated Mayor Bobby Eusebio in the mayoral election, ending the Eusebio's 27-year hold on the city's mayoralty on a progressive platform that focused on combating corruption and improving local services. Local elections took place in Pasig on Monday, May 13, 2019, as part of the 2019 Philippine general election. The voters elected a mayor, a vice mayor, and a total of 12 councilors - six from each of the city's two districts. Pasig's At-large Congressional District
Pasig's at-large congressional district is the sole congressional district of the Philippines in the city of Pasig. It has been represented in the House of Representatives of the Philippines since 1987. Pasig first elected a single representative city-wide at-large for the 8th Congress of the Philippines, 8th Congress following the ratification of the Constitution of the Philippines, 1987 Constitution that restored the House of Representatives. Before 1987, the city was represented as part of Legislative district of Pasig–Marikina, Pasig–Marikina, Rizal's 2nd congressional district, Rizal's 2nd and Rizal's at-large congressional district, at-large district, and Manila's at-large congressional district, Manila's at-large district, respectively.
