Agam Singh Giri
Agam Singh Giri (, 27 December 1927 – 31 January 1971) was an Indian Nepali language, Nepali poet and lyricist from Darjeeling, India. Agam Singh Giri, born on 27th December, 1927, he is generally regarded as the founding member of the Indian Nepali literature. He was an important figure, specially in reviving the love for one's own place. He was the first one to make an important distinction between Indian Nepali (those who were born in India) and Nepalese from Nepal. For any student of Political Science, History, or even a student taking keen interest in the history of the region, his work, "Yuddha ani Yoddha" is highly recommended. Sunan Giri
Sunan Giri (also called Raden Paku or Joko Samudro), and Muhammad Ainul Yakin (born 1442 CE in Blambangan, which is now Banyuwangi) is considered one of the Wali Sanga (revered saints of Islam) in Indonesia. His family is from Hussani Sayid, no historical evidence that he is from Qadiri family History He was the son of Dewi Sekardadu and Maulana Ishak of Melaka (brother of Maulana Malik Ibrahim) and later adopted as a son by Nyai Gede Pinatih, a female merchant. A traditional story says that he was the son of a Hindu princess who had come to Blambangan as a missionary, who was forced to abandon him in a crisis by setting him adrift on the ocean in a small boat from which he was rescued by sailors—a story reminiscent of the biblical Moses. Extremely Severe Cyclonic Storm Giri () ( IMD designation: BOB 04, JTWC designation 04B, also known as Cyclone Giri) was a powerful tropical cyclone in terms of 1-minute sustained wind speed which caused catastrophic damage in parts of Myanmar in late October 2010. Originating from an area of low pressure over the Bay of Bengal on October 19, the system began as a weak depression 250 km (155 mi) south of Myanmar. Over the following few days, the depression underwent explosive intensification, reaching its peak intensity with winds of 195 km/h (120 mph 3-minute sustained) on October 22.
