Giovanni Guidetti
Giovanni Guidetti (born 20 September 1972) is an Italian volleyball coach. He is the current coach for Canada women's national volleyball team. He has been coaching Turkish team Vakıfbank Spor Kulübü since 2008. He coached the Turkey women's national team between 2017 and 2022. Career Guidetti coached from 1995 until 1998 the team Volley 2000 Spezzano in his hometown. In 1997, the team was promoted to the Italian Women's League Serie A. For this success, he was awarded the title "''Coach of the Year.''" Between 1997 and 2000, he served as the vice coach of the Italy women's national volleyball team. During this period, he took part in the 1998 World Championship in Japan and at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney. After his function at the United States Professional Volleyball League (USPV) in the 2000–01 season, he returned to Italy as coach of Vicenza Volley. Modena
Modena (, ; ; ; ; ) is a city and ''comune'' (municipality) on the south side of the Po Valley, in the Province of Modena, in the Emilia-Romagna region of northern Italy. 2013 Women's European Volleyball League
The 2013 Women's European Volleyball League was the fifth edition of the annual Women's European Volleyball League, which featured women's national volleyball teams from eight European countries. A preliminary league round was played from June 13 to July 6, and the final four tournament, which was held in Bulgaria on July 11–12, 2013. The Italy women's national volleyball team is governed by the Federazione Italiana Pallavolo (FIPAV). Volleyball
Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. It has been a part of the official program of the Summer Olympic Games since Tokyo 1964. Beach volleyball was introduced to the program at the Atlanta 1996 Summer Olympics. The adapted version of volleyball at the Summer Paralympic Games is sitting volleyball. The 2023 Women's European Volleyball Championship was the 33rd edition of the Women's European Volleyball Championship, organised by Europe's governing volleyball body, the Confédération Européenne de Volleyball. 2017 Women's European Volleyball Championship
The 2017 Women's European Volleyball Championship was the 30th edition of the European Volleyball Championship, organised by Europe's governing volleyball body, the Confédération Européenne de Volleyball. The tournament was co-hosted by Azerbaijan and Georgia, and was held between 22 September and 1 October 2017. Serbia defeated Netherlands in the final to capture their second european title. Turkey defeated Azerbaijan for the bronze medal. Tijana Bošković from Serbia was elected the MVP. Qualification Format The tournament is played in two different stages. 2018 FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League
The 2018 FIVB Women's Volleyball Nations League was the inaugural edition of the FIVB Women's Volleyball Nations League, a new annual international women's volleyball tournament contested by 16 national teams that replaced the former FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix, World Grand Prix in the international calendar. FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League
The FIVB Women's Volleyball Nations League is an international volleyball competition contested by the senior women's national teams of the members of the ' (FIVB), the sport's global governing body. The first tournament took place between May and July 2018, with the final taking place in Nanjing, China. United States won the inaugural edition, defeating Turkey in the final. In July 2018, the FIVB announced that China would host the next three editions of the women's Volleyball Nations League Finals, from 2019–2021, but on March 13, 2020, the Federation decided to postpone the Nations League until after the 2020 Summer Olympics due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
