Giovanni Cusatis
Giovanni Cusatis (born 1 February 1967) is a retired Italian football player, now a coach, currently in charge of club Alcione. Playing career Cusatis began playing football in Pro Lissone, in Lombardia regional leagues; he spent almost all of his career in Serie C1 and C2. He played both as a center midfielder and winger. Coaching career In 2005, he entered Giacomo Gattuso's staff; then he trained Caronnese and later joined Attilio Lombardo at Legnano. In 2011–12 he had been hired by Pro Patria as head coach: the team, which had to recuperate an 11 points-deduction due to financial irregularities, ended the tournament at a remarkable 7th place (could have been the winner if it wasn't for the amends). In 2012–13 season he signed for Alessandria, in Lega Pro Seconda Divisione. On 18 December 2013, Cusatis was confirmed as one of Giuseppe Sannino's new assistant coaches at Watford. 2022–23 Serie D
The 2022–23 Serie D is the seventy-third season of the top level Italian non-professional football championship. It represents the fourth tier in the Italian football league system. Rules The season will provide a total nine promotions to Serie C (those being the winners of all nine groups). Teams placed between second and fifth for each group will play a so-called "playoff tournament", starting with two one-legged games played at the best placed team's home venue: * 2nd-placed team vs 5th-placed team; * 3rd-placed team vs 4th-placed team. In case of a draw by the end of the game, two extra times will be played; in case of no winner after that, the best-placed team will advance to the final. The two winning teams will then play a one-legged final, to be hosted at the best placed team's home venue, with the same rules as in the first round. Giuseppe Sannino
Giuseppe "Beppe" Sannino (born 30 April 1957) is an Italian professional football manager and former player, currently in charge of Swiss 1. Liga club FC Paradiso. Playing career Born in Campania, Sannino relocated to Turin with his family after his father was hired by the Fiat automobile company in Turin. In his career, Sannino played as a creative attacking midfielder for several minor league teams, with Serie C2 club Vogherese being the one he became most associated with. Sannino retired from active football in 1988, after a lone season with Ligurian amateur club Entella. Coaching career Lower leagues in Italy Sannino entered into a coaching career in 1990, as responsible of the ''Allievi'' (under-17) team at Vogherese. Lega Pro Seconda Divisione was the fourth highest football league in Italy, the lowest with a professional status. Usually it consisted of 36 teams, but in the 2011–12 season, there were 41 teams divided geographically into two divisions of 20 and 21. The 2012–13 Lega Pro Seconda Divisione season was the thirty-fifth football league season of Italian Lega Pro Seconda Divisione since its establishment in 1978, and the fifth since the renaming from Serie C to Lega Pro. It will be divided into two phases: the regular season, and the playoff phase. The 2011–12 Lega Pro Seconda Divisione season was the thirty-fourth football league season of Italian Lega Pro Seconda Divisione since its establishment in 1978, and the fourth since the renaming from Serie C to Lega Pro. It was divided into two phases: the regular season, and the playoff phase. Historically, the league was composed of 54 teams divided into three divisions of 18 teams each.
