Giovani Santillan
Giovani Santillan (born 3 December 1991) is an American professional boxer who has been competing in the sport since 2012. Early life Santillan was born in San Diego, California to parents from Mexico. Amateur career As an amateur, Santillan won the 2004 California State Silver Gloves on Junior division(12–13 years olds) and fought in the finals of the 2005 Junior Division National Silver Gloves. Professional career Santillan beat Imarjoe Miller via Unanimous decision in his debut match. Santillan won the NABO welterweight title against Sammy Valentin and throughout 2017 and 2018, Santillan successfully defended the title two times. Santillan regained the NABO title back in October 2023 after defeating rising star, Alexis Rocha via 6th-round knockout at Kia Forum and makes Rocha taste his first knockout loss. North American Boxing Federation
The North American Boxing Federation (NABF) is a not-for-profit regional sanctioning body that awards regional boxing titles. It is a boxing federation within the World Boxing Council (WBC). History The WBC established the NABF in 1969 as part of its creation of a variety of regional boxing federations. The MGM Grand Las Vegas is a hotel and casino located on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada. It is owned by Vici Properties and operated by MGM Resorts International. The resort was developed by Kirk Kerkorian through his company, MGM Grand, Inc. Antonio de Marco Soto (born January 7, 1986), best known as Antonio "Tony" DeMarco, is a Mexican professional boxer. He held the WBC lightweight title from 2011 to 2012. DeMarco is a cousin of former world champion Humberto Soto. Professional career Lightweight DeMarco claimed an interim belt after he dominated José Alfaro for 10 rounds before a stoppage was called. Demarco won every round before dropping Alfaro three times in the 10th round.
